Freight Shipments

Freight Shipments

Certain large or heavy items can only be delivered via freight carriers.
When your order arrives at the nearest freight terminal, the carrier may or may not contact you to schedule delivery (for residential customers). If you need to set up a delivery appointment, please contact us and let us know.  If you don’t respond promptly to schedule the delivery, the carrier may begin charging storage fees.

Please inform the carrier if there are any access restrictions at the delivery address (e.g., narrow roads or cul-de-sacs where turnarounds are difficult) so they can send an appropriately sized truck. If unloading takes longer than the time allotted for your order (based on the merchandise weight), you may incur detention charges. It’s best to address any potential issues or concerns upfront.

Freight shipments are delivered curbside. The freight carrier is not responsible for unloading items from the truck unless you have added Liftgate Service to your order. The driver is also not required to move goods from the curb into any building. We recommend arranging for assistance at the scheduled delivery time or adding Liftgate Service to your order.

Additional Delivery Services

Liftgate Unloading Service may be available for an extra charge or included on select items please check description. If the freight carrier offers liftgate unloading (from the truck bed to the curb), you can add it to your order.

Important Information about Liftgate Unloading Service

- Liftgate service only involves moving goods from the truck bed to the curb.
- This service may not always be available, as not all delivery trucks are equipped with liftgates. Additionally, the driver is not obligated to use the liftgate if they believe the goods are too heavy or oversized to unload safely. However, if the driver determines that using the liftgate is necessary for safety, you will be charged for this service.
- If you order liftgate service but the delivery truck lacks the necessary equipment, or if the driver decides it’s unsafe to use, we will refund the liftgate fee. However, you remain responsible for getting the goods off the truck by any means necessary.

Inspect Your Goods Before Signing for Delivery

Before the driver leaves, thoroughly inspect the outer packaging for any dents, dings, or holes. Open the box and check the product for any damages such as dings, dents, or cracks. Keep all original packing materials in case you later find concealed damage that requires a return. If you notice clear damage to the merchandise, do not accept the delivery. Contact us immediately at premierislands111@gmail.com, and we will coordinate with the manufacturer for a replacement shipment.

If you see signs of mishandling (e.g., dented corners or damaged packaging), take photos, inform the driver, and ask them to note "DAMAGED" on the delivery receipt before you sign it. If you discover concealed damage later, take photos (preferably before removing the items from the box) and contact us right away for assistance.

For missing items or parts, please reach out to us immediately.

Do not refuse delivery for any other reason, as this may affect your eligibility for product return credit and free redelivery.

Please note that is you purchased liftgate services, but the manufacturer decides to ship UPS Ground, you will be refunded full amount of liftgate fee.
